About Alex Vile

Alex Vile is a modern indie-grunge band from Tacoma, WA formed in 2021 by singer/guitarist Alexandra Vilenius, later joined by Kaelyn Stevens (bass), Leo Quale (lead guitar), and Evan Hartung (drums). Their style blends 90s alt-rock, grunge, emo-revival and alternative. Popular songs include “Kobayashi,” “Stainless,” “Top Dog,” “Lucky Number” (their latest single, 2024) and “Never Awake.” They’ve toured the West Coast, supported acts like Skating Polly and The Velveteers, and won 107.7 The End’s Locals Only Artist of the Month in February 2024. Known for emotive lyrics about love, growing up, and mental health, raw guitar riffs, and DIY roots.
